On this day, January 12, 1981, Canadian rock band April Wine released their ninth studio album, The Nature of the Beast. This hard-hitting album became one of the band’s most successful releases, peaking at #34 on the Billboard 200 and solidifying their status as rock heavyweights in the 1980s.
