On November 18, 1983, the cult horror classic Sleepaway Camp debuted in theaters. Directed by Robert Hiltzik and made on a modest $350,000 budget, the slasher film went on to gross an impressive $11 million at the box office. Starring Felissa Rose, Katherine Kamhi, Paul DeAngelo, and Mike Kellin, the movie became infamous for its shocking twist ending, securing its place in horror history.
