On this day, November 30, 1988, Good Morning, Miss Bliss premiered on The Disney Channel. The show followed the life of middle school teacher Miss Carrie Bliss, played by Hayley Mills, as she guided her students through everyday challenges and life lessons.

Although the series lasted just one season, it became the foundation for the iconic teen sitcom Saved by the Bell. Several characters, including Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), Screech Powers (Dustin Diamond), and Lisa Turtle (Lark Voorhies), were carried over into the rebranded series that gained massive popularity in the 90s.

Do you remember Good Morning, Miss Bliss? How do you think it compares to Saved by the Bell?
