On this day, November 24, 1985, Ewoks: The Battle for Endor premiered as a TV special on ABC. This sequel to Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure continued the story of the cuddly yet brave Ewoks from the Star Wars universe, focusing on Cindel Towani and her fight to survive alongside Wicket and the Ewoks.

The TV special brought a mix of fantasy and adventure, introducing new characters and villains, including the sinister marauders led by King Terak and the witch Charal. Though primarily aimed at younger audiences, The Battle for Endor remains a nostalgic part of Star Wars history.
