On this day, November 29, 1985, the Cocteau Twins released their ethereal EP Echoes in a Shallow Bay. Known for their dreamlike soundscapes and Elizabeth Fraser’s otherworldly vocals, this EP continued to showcase the band’s unique ability to blend ambient textures with melodic brilliance.
