This was the fantasy movie kids rented again and again. Clash of the Titans brought Greek mythology to life using the legendary effects of Ray Harryhausen. It had gods monsters and a mechanical owl. Every scene felt like it belonged on the pages of a storybook from another time.
Before CGI this was as magical as it got. The creatures were stop motion but they felt real. And for many this was the first time mythology jumped off the screen.
