On this day February 1, 1980, Blondie's hit single "Call Me" was unleashed to the world. It not only dominated the American music charts from April 19 to May 30 but also claimed the #1 spot in the UK and Canada. I started to really like this song after watching the movie American Gigolo. Don't ask me why but that's the reason. lol
