On this day, November 1, 1985, A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge premiered in theaters, bringing Freddy Krueger back to the big screen for another round of horror. Made with a modest $3 million budget, the film was a huge success, grossing over $30 million at the box office.
