On August 2, 1985, the horror film “Fright Night” premiered in theaters. Directed by Tom Holland, the movie stars Chris Sarandon, William Ragsdale, Amanda Bearse, Stephen Geoffreys, and Roddy McDowall. With a budget of $8 million, “Fright Night” was a box office success, grossing $24.9 million. The film quickly became a cult classic, blending horror and humor in a story about a teenager who discovers his neighbor is a vampire.
