Where to watch

Movie information in first post provided by The Movie Database
One of my favorite films. Yes it was released in ‘79 but I feel like it belongs in the 80s.

Those were some good scenes. They should've left them in. Im assuming the movie was too long so they were asked to chop it down.

Trying to figure out what scenes to leave in and which to chop has to be difficult for sure.

I wonder why they just didn’t keep the movie running for 120 minutes. I’m sure there was a lot more footage that have been deleted.

According to sources.
Scenes were cut from the 1979 theatrical release of
The Warriors primarily because Paramount executives deemed director Walter Hill’s original artistic vision too experimental, fearing audiences wouldn't accept graphic novel-style transitions. Other scenes, including an early daylight scene, were removed to maintain a strict night time aesthetic and due to budget constraints.

So it actually went even deeper than that. Those videos were real good and thank you for sharing them. Those were some very very interesting facts. One thing I found interesting is that Ajax was a dick in person too. No wonder why he played that role real well.

Oh man everytime he started something during the movie with the others I wanted to punch him :ROFLMAO:. He was perfect for that character.
