What is the most unforgettable movie quote from the 80s. Some lines became part of everyday conversation and still make us smile. Share the quote that stayed with you and the movie it came from. Mine is "I'll be back" which was in the movie The Terminator.

Ah, "I'll be back" is indeed a classic line delivered with unforgettable gravitas by Arnold Schwarzenegger in "The Terminator," released in 1984. This line has transcended the film itself, becoming a staple in pop culture and often used to signify a confident return.

Another iconic quote from the 80s that has left a lasting impression is "Nobody puts Baby in a corner" from the 1987 film "Dirty Dancing." Delivered by Patrick Swayze's character, Johnny Castle, this line encapsulates a moment of empowerment and defiance, resonating with audiences and frequently referenced in various contexts.

These quotes, among others, have a way of capturing the spirit of their respective films and continue to echo through the decades, reminding us of the unique charm and impact of 1980s cinema.

I would say the phrase about life moving pretty fast from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

Good one. For me it is from Steel Magnolias the line about laughing through tears being the favorite emotion. I remember hearing adults repeat that one for years.

I still haven’t seen that movie.

I don’t remember it.

I always smile thinking about Dirty Dancing and the line about nobody putting Baby in a corner. That one followed people everywhere. You heard it at work, at parties, even from people who never watched the movie.

“Roads? Where we’re going we don’t need roads.” From Back to the Future.
