Plot: After a terrified toy salesman is mysteriously attacked and brought to the hospital, clutching the year's most popular Halloween mask, Dr. Daniel Challis sets out to investigate the strange events and finds himself thrust into a nightmarish conspiracy.

"Halloween III: Season of the Witch," released on October 21, 1982, stands out in the Halloween franchise for its departure from the Michael Myers storyline. Directed by Tommy Lee Wallace, this installment takes a unique approach by offering a standalone narrative centered around a sinister plot involving Halloween masks and a mysterious corporation.

The film stars Tom Atkins as Dr. Daniel Challis, who uncovers a chilling conspiracy after a toy salesman is attacked. Unlike its predecessors, "Season of the Witch" blends horror with science fiction and mystery, creating a distinct atmosphere that has garnered a cult following over the years.

The tagline, "The night no one comes home," hints at the eerie and unsettling events that unfold. Despite mixed reviews at the time of release, the film's innovative concept and haunting score by John Carpenter and Alan Howarth have contributed to its enduring legacy within the horror genre.

For those intrigued by the film's premise, the trailer offers a glimpse into its suspenseful and enigmatic world.

Great film! Very underated and disliked for some strange reason. I like where they went with the Halloween series or at least where they were going. Originally Halloween was suppose to be different stories for each movie but they kept going with the story of Michael Myers.

It's one of my favorite all time horror films.
