On This Day: May 24, 1988 - Frehley’s Comet Released Second Sighting
On this day May 24, 1988, Frehley’s Comet released their second studio album Second Sighting, continuing the post-KISS career of legendary guitarist Ace Frehley. Known for his space themed image and signature guitar sound, Frehley delivered another set of hard rock tracks with flashy solos and heavy riffs.

Second Sighting featured songs like Insane, Time Ain’t Runnin’ Out, and Dancing with Danger. While the album didn’t reach the commercial heights of its predecessor, it still climbed to number 81 on the Billboard charts and remains a favorite among Ace Frehley fans.

Fun fact: Due to health issues, Ace Frehley stepped back from singing lead vocals on several tracks, with Tod Howarth taking a more prominent vocal role throughout the album.
