What was the first PC or home computer you ever used? Mine was a commodore colt ibm compatible pc whatever that meant. It was either in 1987 or 1988 when my parents bought one. I remember the bios screen alone took around 10-15 minutes to load lol. I also remember attempting to play the computer game Police Quest. What a nightmare that was. It took around 15-20 minutes for the game to load. I also remember having to press the up arrow key in order to make the character move a step. That took forever too. I remember losing my patience with it and never tried playing it again.

Geez I think the first personal computer that I used was in high school. It wasn’t memorable lol.

I started taking a pc class after my parents bought us a pc. I found it to be so boring back then and now I can’t live without it.

I think the first that many from our generation used a computer was in high school. Computers weren’t a big thing for families during the 80s. The 90s is when they started to become more common in households.

That’s safe to say. They were too expensive for a typical family. I think windows and aol made a huge impact on personal computers. They were very primitive during the eighties.

Way too expensive. The 90s were a game changer for computers.

We had some clunky thing called a Commodore 64. I did not know what I was doing on it half the time. My brother used it more than I did. I just wanted to see if it had any games.

Even if it did playing games on a pc back then was pretty bad. Assuming of course that the pc was from the late 80s.
