Starring Nick Nolte, Gene Hackman, Joanna Cassidy, and Ed Harris, the film followed journalists caught in the Nicaraguan revolution as they navigate danger, politics, and moral dilemmas. Despite a $9.5 million budget and a strong cast, Under Fire underperformed at the box office, grossing only $5.6 million, but has since been recognized for its powerful performances and tense storytelling.
