On this day, November 15, 1988, Aerosmith released their compilation album Gems. Unlike a typical greatest hits album, Gems featured a selection of lesser-known tracks and fan favorites that showcased the band’s raw, bluesy edge. Though it reached #133 on the Billboard charts, Gems became a favorite among hardcore Aerosmith fans for its unique selection of deep cuts.
