On this day, June 15, 1983, the final episode of “Taxi” aired. The show ran for 5 seasons with a total of 114 episodes, originally broadcast on ABC from 1978 to 1982 and then on NBC from 1982 to 1983. “Taxi” won 18 Emmy Awards with 32 nominations.
