On this day, November 10, 1988, Knightwatch premiered on ABC. Starring Benjamin Bratt, the show followed a group of young people who volunteer as part of a neighborhood watch, working alongside police to help make their community safer. Although Knightwatch only ran for one season with a total of 9 episodes, it showcased early performances by Bratt and presented a unique take on crime-fighting for the late ’80s.
