On this day, November 15, 1988, KISS released Smashes, Thrashes & Hits, a compilation album that brought together some of the band’s biggest tracks and reintroduced them to a new generation of fans. Featuring classics like “Rock and Roll All Nite” and “Love Gun,” the album also included two new tracks, “Let’s Put the X in Sex” and “(You Make Me) Rock Hard.” Reaching #21 on the Billboard charts, Smashes, Thrashes & Hits became a must-have for KISS fans.
