On this day, December 21, 1984, the crime-comedy parody Johnny Dangerously premiered in theaters. Directed by Amy Heckerling, the film stars Michael Keaton as Johnny Kelly, a good-hearted man who turns to a life of crime to pay for his mother’s medical bills, becoming the infamous mobster Johnny Dangerously.
