On this day, October 20, 1986, Frankie Goes To Hollywood released their second album Liverpool. While it peaked at #88 on the Billboard charts in the U.S., the album was much more successful in the UK, reaching #5. Liverpool featured a shift towards a harder rock sound compared to their debut album, and while it didn’t match the massive success of Welcome to the Pleasuredome, it still produced notable tracks like “Rage Hard.”

Do you remember listening to Liverpool when it was released, or did you discover it later on after the success of their first album?
