On this day, November 12, 1980, Enos, the Dukes of Hazzard spinoff, premiered on CBS. The show followed Deputy Enos Strate, played by Sonny Shroyer, as he moved to Los Angeles to join the LAPD, bringing a bit of Hazzard County charm to the city. Although it ran for just one season with 18 episodes, Enos found a dedicated audience and offered fans a new look at the beloved character.
