On this day, October 21, 1986, “Weird Al” Yankovic released his fourth album Polka Party!. The album reached #177 on the Billboard charts and featured the parody track “Living With a Hernia,” a humorous take on James Brown’s “Living in America.” While Polka Party! didn’t achieve the same level of success as some of Yankovic’s other albums, it still showcased his trademark wit and love of polka, continuing to build his legacy as the king of musical parodies.

Do you remember listening to Polka Party! when it first came out?
