Widespread Panic Released Space Wrangler in 1988
On this day, February 4, 1988, Widespread Panic released their debut studio album, Space Wrangler. The album introduced the band’s signature blend of Southern rock, jam-band improvisation, and bluesy undertones, setting the foundation for their long and successful career.

Space Wrangler was originally released on Landslide Records before being reissued in 1992 with additional tracks.
