On this day May 7, 1988, the final episode of The Facts of Life aired, closing out a nine season run that spanned 209 episodes. The beloved NBC sitcom followed the lives of four young women at Eastland School and later as they navigated adulthood, friendships, and careers under the guidance of Mrs. Garrett, played by Charlotte Rae.
