On this day March 4 1982 Atlantic Starr released their fourth studio album Brilliance. The album showcased the band’s signature blend of R&B soul and funk delivering smooth harmonies and polished production.

Brilliance became one of Atlantic Starr’s most successful albums reaching number 18 on the Billboard 200 charts and hitting number one on the R&B charts. The album featured hits like Love Me Down and Circles with the latter becoming one of the group’s most recognizable songs.
