On this day March 20 1986 the short lived sitcom All is Forgiven premiered on NBC. The series followed a newlywed woman balancing her marriage with her demanding job as a producer of a soap opera.

Starring Bess Armstrong and featuring David Alan Grier the show had a talented cast but struggled to find an audience. It lasted only one season with nine episodes before being canceled.

Fun fact: David Alan Grier went on to become a breakout star in the 1990s sketch comedy show In Living Color.
