On this day March 13 1989 Depeche Mode released their live album 101 capturing the energy of their groundbreaking Music for the Masses Tour. The album was recorded during the band’s legendary performance at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena California on June 18 1988.

101 showcased Depeche Mode at the peak of their 80s success featuring electrifying live versions of classics like Never Let Me Down Again Strangelove and Just Can't Get Enough.
