On this day April 29 1983, Dan Aykroyd married actress Donna Dixon. Donna was best known at the time for her role as Buffy on the sitcom Bosom Buddies alongside Tom Hanks. Their wedding brought together two stars from different corners of the entertainment world.

The couple later shared the screen in the 1985 comedy film Spies Like Us and have appeared in a few other projects together over the years. Unlike many Hollywood marriages that quickly fade, Dan Aykroyd and Donna Dixon have remained together through the decades.
