I think my mom and I were two of the only people alive that enjoyed this movie. We even went to see it more than once! It is funny, likable, and has a good soundtrack, thanks to Dolly.

A wonderfully charming movie about a business woman who is unexpectedly thrust into parenthood and her entire life changes overnight.

This underrated comedy is a real charmer, with C. Thomas Howell, Kelly Preston and Lori Loughlin. There's lots of other well known 80's actors in at as well. A love letter gets into many wrong hands and chaos ensues for all that read it, thinking it was meant for them. I've seen this many times, it's such a cute movie.

Love the Vacation movies franchise, they are so familiar and comfortable to watch I've seen them all so many times. I used to think if only I could find a man like Clark Griswold, lol. He was a family man, did ok, good sense of humor, alright looking, goofy but loyal.

I liked this movie when I was a kid. I guess some films are more appealing to a child than as an adult, but it was cute at the time.

This is a charming movie, sort of like Back to the Future but with a female lead a little bit.

One of my favorite movies. I've seen this countless times. Great music, great movie. The bios of the country music stars are certainly filled with drama it seems to make a lot of good movies about them.

A charming movie with some great songs in it about a man that loves his wife so much, he reincarnates to come back to her. I've seen this several times and loved it each one.

I loved this movie as a kid, I saw it several times at the movies and had the cassette tape soundtrack. It's a fun musical with lots of great songs. I was lucky enough a few years ago to see the production of it in Toronto where Miss Hannigan was played by Lesley Nicol, the cook Mrs. Patmore in the wonderful series, Downton Abbey.

Now this was one hot movie. Thank God for pay t.v., since it was restricted here, but I got to see it a few months later when it came on there. Mickey Rourke was so beyond sexy in this movie, it's hard to believe he ended up like he has. It affected my young, 14 year old, impressionable mind, lol.

This maudlin movie again has me thinking more about my mom's reaction to it than the actual movie. I recall we went on a Sunday afternoon matinee and there were not many people there, only a handful of women. This movie is supposed to be a tearjerker, since the little girl that's the center of the movie only has six weeks to live. Now you wouldn't think that sort of movie is the type one would be laughing at, but you don't know my mom, lol! It was sappy beyond belief, and when the child tells her mother she wants her to donate her ballet slippers to the poor after she dies, my mom lost it. Imagine a handful of women in there sniffling at the movie of the dying child and m…

I remember this ridiculous horror movie in the mid 80's more due to my mom's reaction to it than the actual movie. My best friend and my mom and I all went to go see it, and it was a packed theater. My friend and I were a bit, more than a bit, embarrassed at how my mom kept laughing during this movie and drawing attention to us she thought it was so absurd. The scene with the guy tying up the toilet had her in hysterics for some reason.

Friday the 13 part III is my favorite out of the series. I saw half of this movie at the movie theater when I was a little kid with practically my whole extended family including grandma. I'm Greek and if you saw My Big Fat Greek Wedding then you know I have a large family and we did everything together back then. This was the first 3d movie that I've ever seen. Anyways I said half because when we got up to the scene where Jason shoots the harpoon or whatever it was, the arrow was coming straight at us in 3d. Well grandma had on the glasses and as the arrow was coming towards she jumped up out of fear and started yelling in Greek. That was the end of that movie. We all pa…

One of my favorite movies of all time. I had a real thing for Christopher Reeve when he played Superman and this came out two years later. This movie has become a cult classic. It was so underrated when it came out and did not do great at the box office, but has garnered quite a following in the decades since. A time travel romance with an exquisite, haunting score by John Barry, and beautiful Jane Seymour filmed at a gorgeous hotel. I cannot watch this and not cry. It's a beautiful, gentle movie that romantics and ones that are sentimental will dearly appreciate. To this day fans gather at the hotel for occasional conventions and ones from the movie will appear. It's a …

One of my favorite 80's movies. The acting is not the greatest, but the story, the film score and the cinematography is beautiful. They were both so young and perfect looking. I've seen it countless times and am always enchanted by the simple tale.

I couldn't stand this movie and nothing has changed till this day. They can't even have a beer in the movie without dancing. Or how about when Kevin Bacon was angry he just starts dancing. Normal people will punch a wall or curse but not Kevin. He's just going to dance lmao.. I know it's a dance movie or whatever but still. The movie makes me cringe.

So here’s a game that we could all play. Post a picture of an eighties movie that you’re guessing and see if we can guess it. I’ll start off first.
